It depends on the PDF page size and the scale you choose. At 2x scale (recommended), a standard A4 page renders at approximately 1654×2339 pixels, which is sharp enough for most uses including printing.

No hard limit. Since rendering happens in your browser, very large PDFs (100+ pages) may take longer to process. The progress bar shows you how far along the conversion is.
